PALAZZO SMITH
Venice
Palazzo Smith overlooks the Grand Canal near the Rialto Bridge.

Space
Based on a design by Antonio Visentini, it was built in the second half of the 18th century. This prestigious space housed Canova’s famous ‘Amore e psiche’, which was later sold to Napoleon.
A graceful courtyard leads to the palace’s courtyard, which features an ancient well and classical Venetian flooring. The first noble floor of the palace exceeds 380 sqm and preserves large luxurious rooms in neoclassical style: spacious rooms alternate stucco and frescoed walls with precious marble and antique chandeliers. Every corner of the palace is embellished with unique details with a strong Venetian soul, making it an ideal venue for hosting art exhibitions and prestigious events.
