Pietà
Venice
The Pietà is a monumental complex built in the
fourteenth century, located on the Riva degli Schiavoni,
between Piazza San Marco and Biennale venues.
Space
The venue has extensive indoor and outdoor spaces of different kinds. The side chapel of Chiesa della Pietà displays a hall and a wide room characterized by a vaulted ceiling and by walls partly frescoed partly in exposed bricks. The Cappello Memmo space is disposed on two levels. The ground floor has an independent entrance and is composed by four rooms equipped in a modern way. It faces on an inner garden that can be used for outdoor expositions. The second plexus is an unique versatile room provided with a tiny outdoor space. The noble floor displays wide saloons made exposition spaces and enlightened by large quadrifores. The connection between the exposition spaces creates a real cultural center in the heart of Venice, perfect for any kind of event, such as art exhibitions, fashion shows, book presentations, press days and conferences.
