The Venice Glass Week is back!

From 13 to 21 September, Venice comes alive with light and reflections during the ninth edition of the festival dedicated to the art of glass.
We are proud to collaborate in this event, supporting the work of international glass artists and offering them the opportunity to share their research with the city, in dialogue with its history and its public.

Discover our projects:

Ida Wieth – DoubleDown
Danish artist Ida Wieth (Copenhagen, 1983) works between sculpture and installation, combining glass, metals, textiles, and ceramics. Holding an MFA from Edinburgh, she explores time and transformation through experimental techniques. She exhibits internationally and her works are part of prestigious collections such as the Musée du Verre, the Designmuseum Denmark, and the Notojima Glass Art Museum.
In Venice she presents DoubleDown, an installation that brings materials and perceptions into dialogue, hosted at Palazzo Venart Luxury Hotel (opening hours: 12–7 pm).

Péter Borkovics – Magical Glass and Gold in Venice
Péter Borkovics (Salgótarján, 1971) is a glass artist and designer. A graduate and DLA from MOME Budapest, he has been exhibiting for years in Europe, the USA, and Japan, winning international awards such as the Smithsonian Renwick Award and the Coburger Glaspreis. Since 1997 he has been teaching at the School of Applied Arts in Budapest, with a practice that investigates time through forms and experimental techniques.
During The Venice Glass Week he presents Magical Glass and Gold in Venice, organized by Gallery Erdesz Hungary, at Parrucche Ai Biri / Kunst Depot (opening hours: 11 am–7 pm).
